National Wildlife Refuge Week
On October 13, SHARCHITECTURE partnered with Friends of Nevada Wilderness, the Boy Scouts of America and Wildlife and Habitat Improvement of Nevada to plant 300 native plants at Corn Creek on the Desert National Wildlife Range. This area is the largest wildlife refuge outside of Alaska and provides essential habitat for Nevada’s state animal, the desert bighorn sheep. The effort celebrates October 14-21 as National Wildlife Refuge Week. Thanks to everyone for helping build stronger communities.
Boys and Girls Club Elko
Board President Jill Chapman is pictured at the recent ground breaking for their new facility in Elko. The 16,500 SF clubhouse, gymnasium, and administration building replaces the current facility operating out of multiple portable units. The new clubhouse is scheduled to be operational in late spring of 2013. Lundahl Building Systems is the project CMAR.
SHARCHITECTURE has completed over 75,000 SF of office reconfiguration in the past 6 months for a variety of user groups. The designs reinforce an open, collaborative work-space environment and maximize natural daylighting by combining open, modular workstations of various heights and movable walls with full height glass panels for enclosed offices.
