By September 24, 2013Community

As promised in my blog post Re-Ignite Your Goals with a Sense of Purpose, I will spotlight local community non-profits and what opportunities they have available for volunteers. Today, I would like to introduce an organization that is on the front line taking care of wild lands in Southern Nevada so we may enjoy them now and in the future.

The Details:

Friends of Nevada Wilderness is dedicated to preserving all qualified Nevada public lands as wilderness, protecting all present and potential wilderness from ongoing threats, educating the public about the values of and need for wilderness, and improving the management and restoration of wild lands.
