AIA Nevada Architecture Firm of the Year

We are excited and honored to share that SH Architecture has been named the AIA Nevada Architecture Firm of the Year for 2016!

This is the highest honor that the AIA Nevada Chapter can bestow upon an architecture firm and is awarded to recognize a firm that has consistently produces distinguished architecture and has shown a commitment to the AIA and the profession of architecture and has been a service to the community in which they are located.

SH Architecture is the 19th AIA Nevada Firm of the Year Award recipient. This is the 2nd time we have been honored with this prestigious award. We were also the recipient of the award in 2005.

This award and recognition would not have been possible without all the hard work and dedication of the entire SH Architecture team, both on projects and outside the office through their efforts in the community, our devoted consultants and our passionate clients.

SH Architecture was founded in 1985 with the understanding that by building lasting relationships with great clients we could not only design great projects, but also cultivate great communities. In the past 30-plus years, SH Architecture has completed a wide variety of recognizable projects throughout the state of Nevada. Five years ago we began working in Salt Lake City, Utah and established a full time office there two years ago. However, we are more than an architecture firm focused on projects of bricks, steel and mortar alone; we are a firm that is focused on the people and the creation of lasting communities in which we have the honor to work. We consider ourselves more than a collection of architects and designers. We are collective of citizens and community activists who can be found giving back to community organizations on the weekend as often as we can be found working long nights on project deadlines. We are committed to a better built environment through our architecture and a better community through our individual efforts. To us, this is the true meaning of the firm award.
