In 1985, Windows 1.0 debuted, the Dow closed at 1,546 points, a letter cost $.22 to mail, “We Are The World” was performed for LiveAid, Ford introduced the Taurus and everyone went “Back to the Future”.
That same year, Ron Hall and Steve Swisher formed Swisher & Hall AIA, Limited. 25 years later, the firm is known as SHArchitecture, and continues to create a culture of design which evokes a shared passion and excitement. The Design of SHArchitecture is a purposed response that is refined, proportionate, elegant and enduring. It is contextual to climate, site & community as well as coordinated to complement our clients and result in value.
In 2010, the Dow hovers around 10,000, apps are being developed for the iPhone 4G, Lady Gaga is…, Hybrid vehicles are mainstream, witches, warlocks, vampires and animated toys have taken over theaters, and Sustainability and Green Buildings are the industries’ buzzwords.
In 2010, SHArchitecture is producing projects in REVIT, maintains a design baseline of LEED Silver, has active projects in four states and sits on the board for 8 national and community based, non-profit organizations.
