The design for this retail banking facility is a marriage of earth and sky that is representative of contemporary desert architecture. The building materials and land were utilized as the dominant elements of architectural description for the facility. The natural recess of the site allowed for the blending of the building into the ground, so it appears to grow from the site itself. This illusion is enhanced with the use of natural stone building materials and neutral desert colors, as well as native desert landscaping.
