The James Clubhouse is a landmark 1960s building in downtown North Las Vegas. The goal of the modernization was to revive the Clubhouse for continued use. The building envelope was completely updated, including new windows and doors, insulation, and roof. Tubular skylights add light to previously dark interior rooms. The Clubhouse received all new interior finishes, as well. A vibrant new color pallette creates a kid-friendly atmosphere indoors. An existing gymnasium was completely refurbished with a new wood floor, basketball equipment, and tubular skylights. The exterior was improved with desert landscaping and a new outdoor athletics field that is available for public use.
