Millenium Foto, located in the LEED Silver Harmon Corner, was completed in 2012 and caters to professional and amateur photo enthusiasts. The store design by SHARCHITECTURE, established the corporate brand for the Millenium Foto Franchise –a notable merchandiser in the Las Vegas photography industry. This location not only carries standard camera equipment, but also features products geared towards tourist such as binoculars, backpacks, video cameras and accessories. With a wide array of products and numerous brands, product display was a significant factor in the design. Uniquely aligned lighted glass display cases are angled toward the entry to entice customers into the store. They also showcase each individual brand and allow customers to view the merchandise from afar. The design also features movable transaction tables that adapt with customer flow, back-lit LED panels to drive interest and attract buyers, video displays in conjunction with static graphics, lockable display cases for security purposes, and architectural lighting highlighting the merchandise. The interior design provides a neutral backdrop to highlight the products and not compete with them.
